World vs God
Hye there peeps, today as my title says, "World vs God". Indeed He is isin't He? See many a time we as a human often neglect God in our life. Especially for those of us who have a really hectic life. In today's term will be busy life. As for me even as a student, many people come to me and say," Charis, you are always busy." Well, to be honest i do not know whether i am busy or what, but no matter what it is i just hate it when people say that. I prefer the word occupied than the word busy. Why? Because busy simply means:-
Being
Under
Satan's
Youth
I am not being under Stan's Youth!! NO!!! I am being under God's shelter! I repeat, I am being under God's shelter ! Well, i am the Child of God. As the bible says, for you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."-Romans 8:15
All of us, who accepted Christ as our personal Saviour and Christ, we are all His children! We have received the Spirit of Sonship. And what does the bible says? We cry Abba Father! The one above is like our Father. In times of troubles we cry on Him and in times of joy, we sing and shout praises unto Him! Each time we call upon the name of Jesus, He is there, His faithfulness never fails. Seasons may change but His love for us will never!
Look at the world today, yes when we are happy the world shares our happiness. The world and we were pretty much happy being together. Laughter was everywhere. We dance around, chill around, and sing around entertaining each other. But what happens? What happens when we faces circumstances in our life? Does the world mourn with us? Does the world care bout us? Does the world comfort us? Does the world be there for us when we cry out? Does the world even care about your feelings? I can guarantee the answers to all are NO! Correct me if I am wrong. Yes for some of you, you may say, well the world does comfort me in a way. But, through what extend? Can that comfort last? Can that comfort helps is? Or it will destroy us at the end of the day?
Many of us, here today neglect God because of the world. I know, all of us here are very much occupied with our life here. I do. But there is one thing I want to tell all of you out there, no matter how
busyoccupied you is never ever forgo God in your life. Do set aside a time for God. Do not say, well I will do it once I done my work. Well, guess what? You will never? You will doze off and in your mind, you will say, well I will do it tomorrow morning, and what happen next? Yes, you are correct! The morning will never happen. This routine will keep on going. Trust me. In my hectic life, I do set a time for God. Stop whatever you are doing currently and read His word. Just about 10 to 15 minutes. Can’t we just do that? Come on, just 10 to 15 minutes. Pray and read His word. That’s it. After that, continue your work again. Who knows you can even finish your work faster than before. Perhaps, you will have a total peace when you continue back your work.So my fellows brothers and sisters, do take a time and ponder, in 24 hours, how many hours did you allocate your time for God? Can you even spend at least 15 minutes for God?
